WETEX is a major event in the fields of sustainability, energy, water, smart cities, sustainable real estate development, and green mobility. Major local companies in both the public and private sectors, as well as companies from around the world, aspire to participate in this exhibition each year. It is an ideal platform for businesses, investors, and visitors to learn about the latest innovations, solutions, and technologies in these fields, exchange expertise and experiences, and forge contracts and partnerships. In addition, they can understand market needs, explore investment opportunities in the local and regional markets, and network with thousands of exhibitors, participants, officials, and policymakers.

In addition to the exhibition, DEWA organized numerous seminars and panel discussions with leading experts.

Numerous local and international companies specializing in the environment, digital transformation, smart infrastructure, smart buildings, sustainable cities, sustainable agriculture, food, and water security participated in WETEX 2023. The exhibition also featured prominent companies in clean energy and renewable energy, energy storage, smart electricity meters, and energy efficiency.
