Underdogs participated in 'Slush Tokyo 2024,' Asia's largest startup festival, showcasing the strength of Korean startup education to the world.
'Slush Tokyo 2024' is an event hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, held for two days from May 15th to 16th at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center. At this event, Underdogs met with various global partners seeking startup education. They introduced Korean startup education to university officials, government agencies, corporate social responsibility representatives, and startups, highlighting its effectiveness, and exchanged views on the startup ecosystem in Japan.
Since its founding in 2015, Underdogs has fostered over 17,000 entrepreneurs. Underdogs has accumulated sufficient startup education experience and know-how in Korea to confidently answer the question, 'Can you make money through startup education?' with a resounding 'yes.' Building on this foundation, Underdogs expanded the scope of its social impact through startup education globally in 2018, initiating startup coaching and entrepreneur development with partners in 19 countries worldwide.
Underdogs is pushing beyond immersive, practical startup education with entrepreneur-turned-coaches. They are developing the next generation of startup education. Their goal is to offer all-in-one educational services, including 'Underbase,' a data platform that systematically operates and supports hundreds of education programs and aggregates and manages entrepreneurs' growth data in one place, and an 'AI coach' currently under joint development with 'Wrtn' through an MOU.
Underdogs CEO, Jungheon Kim, stated, “In line with the growing need for startup education in Japan, Underdogs will strive to provide excellent educational services with its well-proven educational content and years of accumulated educational operation know-how, which have been thoroughly validated in Korea.”
