Spring Shine, a social enterprise that fosters artists with developmental disabilities, has conducted an eco-friendly ceramic tumbler making activity as an ESG campaign at eSteel4U, Posco Group's steel e-commerce platform.

Spring Shine is a social enterprise that discovers artists with developmental disabilities and cultivates them into professional artists through specialized training. In particular, since launching the developmental disability pottery instructor training project in 2016, it has produced numerous disabled pottery instructors to date.

This ESG campaign was also led by a developmental disability potter, and experienced potters Jun-hyuk Jeon and Jin-o Park, with over 10 years of experience, guided the experiential activity, allowing participants to have a time of unity beyond disabilities.

The campaign began with a magic show by Harry (real name: Jin-o Park), who also works as a developmental disability magician. The subsequent ceramic tumbler making experience was led by Messi (real name: Jun-hyuk Jeon), a developmental disability potter and professional experience instructor.

The main ingredient of ceramic tumblers is clay, the primary material of rocks obtained from nature. During the process of firing ceramic tumblers, pollutants and impurities are burned off. In daily use, the shape does not change, and no harmful substances are generated even in boiling water. This has recently attracted attention as a popular eco-friendly product.

The 13 eSteel4U employees who participated in the campaign made personal ceramic tumblers and donation ceramic tumblers, and plan to donate ceramic tumblers to the local community.
