Global creative studio Fondee is launching the third round of sales for 'Ppojakhyuk', the sold-out stuffed toy merchandise created in collaboration with popular virtual streamer Namgunghyuk.
'Ppojakhyuk' is a stuffed toy merchandise produced through an IP partnership between Fondee and streamer Namgunghyuk. Fondee is responsible for design and sales distribution, and it has gained significant attention for its cuteness, capturing the characteristics of streamer Namgunghyuk's character within a small 5cm size.
Notably, the first and second rounds of sales both sold out within just three days, earning praise for sparking a new trend in the creator merchandise market.
This third round of sales will take place on May 17th at Fondee, featuring a special product with a different composition from the first and second rounds.
Fondee revealed that they paid meticulous attention to the detailed aspects of character branding for 'Ppojakhyuk' promotion, including designing a webtoon-style sales page and delivering announcements that align with the concept.
Meanwhile, streamer Namgunghyuk is a virtual streamer who debuted on Twitch in March 2022 and currently operates on YouTube and Naver Chijijik. Operating under the persona of an 'MZ martial arts expert' seemingly plucked from a martial arts novel, he has become a rising star in the streamer community, exceeding 60,000 YouTube subscribers.
