Mobigen, also the main contractor for the 'Trade Insurance Big Data Platform Construction' project in 2023, explained that in this upgrade project, it will provide customized and intelligent services unique to trade insurance by discovering analysis and service tasks, improving data management and analysis environments, and adding new services.

Through this project, the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation expects to be able to continuously provide trade insurance-specific, leading data analysis services by establishing an internal analysis environment that allows for integrated expansion and in-depth analysis of trade insurance data, actively responding to government policies such as the digital platform government, data-based administration law, etc., which are national policy goals.

To this end, the external portal of the trade insurance big data platform will build integrated services and function enhancements for overseas credit information, importer guidance services, and company information provision services. Overseas credit information will completely transfer the functions of the existing 'Overseas Credit Information Center' service of the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation and add further developed data analysis services.

The internal work portal will be upgraded for usability so that business personnel and analysis personnel can use it conveniently. To enhance data usability, the search function will be improved, and the company's supply chain analysis service will be upgraded to allow for faster analysis of company details and improved functionality to check various company-related information.

In addition to discovering analysis service tasks, the company plans to collect and analyze cases related to trade fraud and further review the Proof of Concept (PoC) for the safe transaction self-diagnosis service. This PoC aims to reduce exporters' trade fraud risks by providing fraud risk diagnosis results and additional inspection information.
