Lotte Ventures Selects 12 Promising Startups for L-CAMP 12th Cohort, Busan 6th Cohort, and Future Food 4th Cohort

Startups in various fields such as content, healthcare, environment, mobility, and manufacturing were selected

Total investment of approximately 3 billion won, support worth 12 million won

Companies have been selected to participate in L-CAMP (L-Camp), Lotte Ventures' flagship acceleration program, and Miraesikdan (Miraesik:dan, The Food Changers), a food tech open innovation program. The number of selected companies is 9 companies for L-CAMP 12th and Busan 6th, and 3 companies for Miraesikdan 4th, for a total of 12 companies.

The L-CAMP 12th and Busan 6th companies selected through this 40:1 competition are △The Dash (a service that connects farmers and agricultural service providers and supports integrated management of farm work) △Dunb (research and manufacture of functional adsorbent materials used in the refining of solvents or oils) △Dear Monday (B2B premium workation service) △Rumer (no-coding reservation site creation and data automation SaaS in 5 minutes) △Viewridge Corporation (global digital marketing and export enhancement data solution) △Space Vision AI (development of a real-time integrated marketing strategy platform through computer vision-based offline customer interest analysis and quantification) △Aaron (B2B SaaS solution for managing electric vehicle charging systems) △A Tours (development of the world's only water electrolysis spray technology) △Aisha Hub (SaaS service that assists with business automation through artificial intelligence).

Following this, the competition rate for the Miraesikdan 4th food tech open innovation program was 36:1, and the selected companies are △Lab to Bottle, an agricultural corporation (development of advanced technology-applied brewing processes and products) △Reharvest (production of food ingredients through food byproduct upcycling) △Biocom (care food business to improve health imbalances).

Lotte Ventures' acceleration program assigns an investment manager as a dedicated manager to provide close support for business growth, and connects startups with Lotte Group affiliates to lead to various collaborations and practical business linkages.

Miraesikdan is a food tech open innovation program in which domestic public institutions, Lotte Group's food affiliates, and distribution affiliates participate together, with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Technology Institute, Lotte Central Research Institute, Lotte Wellfood, Lotte Chilsung Beverage, etc., participating to professionally support the PoC (Proof of Concept, verification of the feasibility of technology or projects) of food tech startups.

The 12 promising startups selected for L-CAMP 12th and Busan 6th, and Miraesikdan 4th participated in a 1-night 2-day integrated workshop, including an orientation, at Lotte Injae Development Institute Osan Campus in Gyeonggi-do from May 7th to 8th. The workshop was also attended by Lotte Ventures CEO Youngmin Jeon, along with the responsible investment managers, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Technology Institute and Lotte Central Research Institute participating in the Miraesikdan program, and cooperating companies such as operating accelerator ACDC. CEO Youngmin Jeon delivered a leadership lecture on organizational growth at the workshop, and encouraged and welcomed the startups, expressing his anticipation for mutual growth through collaboration with promising startups.

After the completion of the L-CAMP and Miraesikdan acceleration programs, investment of up to 300 million won per company will be considered for the selected companies. In addition, through the final Demo Day, each company's achievements will be presented and opportunities for follow-up investment attraction will be provided to continuously support the growth of startups.
