The Korea IT Professionals Association (IPAK) announced on the 30th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ewha Womans University's Startup Support Center with the aim of establishing a collaborative system to discover and nurture female startups.
The Korea IT Professionals Association and Ewha Womans University's Startup Support Center have focused this business agreement on revitalizing the women's venture business ecosystem by discovering and supporting aspiring female entrepreneurs and startups in the AI & IT fields. Going forward, both organizations plan to actively engage in establishing a foundation for startup support and developing support programs through close information exchange and collaboration.
Bae Sung-hwan, president of the Korea IT Professionals Association (CEO of RSN), stated, “This MOU signing will serve as a crucial stepping stone to lay the groundwork for more women to demonstrate their entrepreneurial spirit in the AI & IT fields and to enable their ideas to blossom into real-world businesses.” He added, “Through close cooperation between the two organizations, we will strive to provide necessary resources and operate support programs.”
Kim Sang-joon, head of the Ewha Womans University Startup Support Center, also commented, “Through this agreement, we will continue to explore ways to provide practical assistance to aspiring female entrepreneurs by utilizing various resources and all possible capabilities within the university.”
Both organizations have agreed to continue collaborating on all matters deemed necessary for mutual growth and the development of innovative business models.
Introduction to the Korea IT Professionals Association
Established in 1985 as the first incorporated association approved by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (currently the Ministry of Science and ICT), the Korea IT Professionals Association is an IT professional organization that has played a pivotal role in Korea's development as an IT powerhouse over the past 40 years.
