Jeonbuk National University utilized Monster for selecting participants in its Honors Residential College program. The final selection was made by combining the results of the competency test and AI interview evaluation.

Efficient evaluation aligned with the target organization (TO) for candidate selection. Applicants can conveniently participate in interviews without any spatial constraints.

Muhayu (CEO Shin Dong-ho, www.muhayu.com), a practical AI technology company that understands natural language, announced on the 29th that it will be supplying its AI competency test and AI interview solution, 'Monster,' to Jeonbuk National University. Jeonbuk National University used Monster to select participants for its Honors Residential College (HRC) program.

The Honors Residential College program is Jeonbuk National University's specialized educational program designed to prevent the outflow of talented individuals to other regions and address the changing university education environment due to the sharp decline in the school-age population. Selected students receive various benefits, including full dormitory fee support, financial assistance for AUEA exchange programs, access to HRC program courses, an Honors Student Certificate upon graduation, and an Honors Student mark on their final transcripts.

The interview process is conducted for those who pass the document screening, with the final selection of successful candidates based on a comprehensive assessment of the competency test and AI interview results, in descending order of score. The interview questions were set based on Jeonbuk National University's evaluation criteria and were consulted by Muhayu experts.

Jeonbuk National University decided to introduce Muhayu's Monster to discover students' inherent traits and conduct a selection process using systematic evaluation metrics and assessment of spoken content. Monster is a specialized AI video and audio analysis solution for interviews focused on interview content, and it incorporates a competency test feature based on psychology to assess the applicant's ability level.

The competency test utilizes an AI algorithm to rigorously select questions based on psychology and then assesses the applicant's competency level. It consists of questions that comprehensively assess personality, metacognition, job matching rate, job motivation, potential for maladaptation, and career values, and AI provides specific interpretive comments based on summarized evaluation content.

Muhayu's AI interview utilizes speech recognition (STT) technology with 94% accuracy to understand answer content in real-time. It enhances the accuracy of speech recognition through data tuning and deep learning technology, using real interview answer data and a pre-built dictionary for each job. Similar to the competency test, AI provides interpretive comments on the evaluation content. It can automatically generate questions based on the applicant's self-introduction or competency test results, and it also allows for setting up common questions tailored to evaluation criteria.

Muhayu's Shin Hyun-ho said, "Generally, conducting interviews involves selecting interviewers based on the target group, setting up an interview location, and managing it, which requires a significant amount of resources." He further explained, "Evaluation officers can reduce their concerns about candidate selection through AI-based competency tests and interviews, and applicants can conveniently participate in interviews without any spatial constraints."
