National Hangeul Museum's '2024 Hangeul Content Idea Contest' Accepting Submissions from May 16th to May 31st
The '2024 Hangeul Content Idea Contest,' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yoo In-chon, hereinafter referred to as MCST) and the National Hangeul Museum (Director Kim Il-hwan, hereinafter referred to as Hangeul Museum), marks its 10th anniversary this year.
This contest, part of the 2024 Hangeul Industrialization Fostering and Support Project, is being organized by the Korea Education & Culture Foundation (Chairman Lee Soon-mo, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation). The '2024 Hangeul Content Commercialization Development Support Project,' which concluded its application period earlier, aimed to enhance the value of Hangeul as a Korean Wave content by discovering and developing tangible and intangible cultural content using Hangeul as a source material, ultimately supporting overseas expansion for the promotion of the Hangeul industry. This contest, as part of the support project, focuses on gathering innovative content ideas centered around Hangeul.
Invitation for Novel Hangeul-Related Content Ideas, Grand Prize of 10 Million Won
The '2024 Hangeul Content Idea Contest' is open to anyone, regardless of nationality, age, or gender, with participation allowed individually or in teams. The submission period began on May 16th (Thursday) and will continue until May 31st (Friday) through the Hangeul Industrialization website (www.hangeulmade.org/idea).
The contest theme revolves around content and ideas based on artifacts housed in the Hangeul Museum. For related information, please refer to the Hangeul Museum website (https://www.hangeul.go.kr) and the Digital Hangeul Museum website (https://archives.hangeul.go.kr).
