Ilman Baekman successfully completed a proof-of-concept (PoC) for its AI signage technology at the 2024 Korea Agricultural Exhibition, showcasing its document-based AI video generation technology.
AI analyzes documents to create customized videos instantly. At the exhibition, client companies experienced professional video production in just a few minutes using only printed materials and images.
Ilman Baekman is enhancing its AI technology to increase accessibility to digital marketing for SMEs and enable anyone to easily create professional-level video content. It plans to officially unveil its AI signage technology at CES.
Ilmanbaekman (일만백만), an AI-based video production and distribution service startup and a subsidiary of AC&DC, announced that it successfully completed a proof of concept (PoC) of its innovative AI signage (digital display) technology at the '2024 Korea Agriculture Expo' held on the 5th. Ilmanbaekman showcased its AI video generation technology that can be instantly utilized on-site at the expo.
The AI signage project aimed to demonstrate how AI-generated videos can be applied in real-life scenarios. Unlike existing technologies that require manual video production from documents, this technology allows for the instant creation of customized videos simply by inputting the company's existing documents.
This technology automatically analyzes the content of documents and generates videos simply by uploading them. At the Agriculture Expo, it successfully produced the necessary videos using only simple materials without prior consultation with the client company, proving the speed and efficiency of the technology.
Ilmanbaekman's AI signage system consists of an AI video generation app and a dongle that transmits the videos to a display, allowing users to create high-quality content in real-time on-site.
A client company participating in the expo stated that they were able to create professional videos within minutes using only their existing printed materials and images on-site. They also highlighted the ability to instantly revise content and add new information based on customer reactions on-site. This speed and flexibility, they claimed, has completely transformed their marketing strategy.
Kim Yu-seok, CEO of Ilmanbaekman, stated, “We are delighted to have conducted the PoC at a large-scale event like the Korea Agriculture Expo. This technology will open up new horizons for real-time customized advertising, especially for SMEs, by providing affordable high-quality digital marketing tools, significantly lowering the barriers to entry.”
Ilmanbaekman's AI technology aims to go beyond simply generating videos and focuses on producing videos of a quality that businesses can instantly utilize on-site.
Kim Yu-seok, CEO, emphasized, “Our goal is to empower everyone to easily create professional-level video content using AI. We are particularly focused on meeting the actual marketing and communication needs of businesses.”
Building on the success of this PoC, Ilmanbaekman plans to officially unveil its AI signage technology at the upcoming CES (Consumer Electronics Show).
Ilmanbaekman is currently participating in the 'Symbiotic Open Innovation' project, a large-company-startup open innovation support program operated by the Gyeonggi Content Agency under AC&DC's startup accelerator program. Through this program, they are collaborating with large and mid-sized companies on open innovation initiatives.
